DOMAINS RENEWAL PROCEDURE

Domains are charged at the following prices:-

UK Extensions
co.uk, .org.uk, me.uk, ltd.uk, .uk - £10 each per domain for period of 2 years. This is also the renewal fee. (Please note this is not an exhaustive list of all the domains available). UK Extensions are bound by the Nominet terms and conditions.

International Extensions
.com, .net, .org, .biz - £40 each per domain for period of 2 years. This is also the renewal fee. (Please note this is not an exhaustive list of all the domains available)

We do not charge for cancellations, changes of registration or transfers.

When a Domain is coming up for renewal we will email and or invoice the contact of the account 30- 60 days prior to the domain expiring and finally 10 days before the domain name is due to expire via a statement sent via email. This is to ensure optimum time is given to evaluate if the domain name needs to be renewed or any changes need to be made.

Should you wish to renew the domain name, simply reply to one of the emails confirming you wish to renew, and pay the required invoice or just pay the required invoice and it will be renewed automatically.

If you do not wish to renew the domain name please reply to the email stating you wish to cancel it. Domains not paid for by the due date as shown on the invoice are subject to cancellation.

Expired Domains
If you request that you no longer wish to have your domain name renewed by us, it will be left to expire and all services provided regarding that domain name will be suspended. Your domain name will then go into a 30 day protected period, after 30 days your domain will be suspended by Nominet and it will go into a 60 day grace period. If you change your mind and still wanted to retain your domain name, you still can and at the original renewal price. This must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired, after 90 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through a third party registrar by Nominet. ion IT Ltd will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name after this happens.

Transfer Domains
If you no longer wish to carry on with your contract with ion IT Ltd, please email us no less than 30 days before your services are due to be renewed. ion IT Ltd will not charge you for transferring a domain(s) away to another registrar’s tag. The customer acknowledges that, termination of the agreement for any reason will result in ion IT Ltd ceasing to provide the applicable services, with the consequences that flow from such cessation, including (but not limited to), deletion of data .e.g. hosting account(s) and mail boxes.
